Shift: Sunday - Tuesday & Every Other Wednesday 4am - 4:30pm
Wage Range: $32/r - $40/hr

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced packaging maintenance technician to join our day shift maintenance team. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical skillset as well as manual machining experience, the primary focus of this position will be maintaining, improving reliability and repairing taffy packaging equipment primarily AMP Rose 42C Cut and Wrap machines, with occasionally helping on multi head scales, vertical baggers, pre-made pouch baggers, cartoners, casepackers, palletizers, robotic packaging equipment and conveyors. Strong communication skills, ability to lead by example, willingness to work some overtime, and shift flexibility are highly desired.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong background in mechanical repair and manual machining
• Experience in troubleshooting factory automation systems including knowledge of controls, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, and pneumatics
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical control circuits including knowledge of AC/DC and facility equipment wiring
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment in a similar environment
• Mechanical experience in troubleshooting and repair of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, piping systems
• Communicate effectively and frequently to all stake holders including; production operators, management, quality, sanitation, human resources, peers and team members
• Customer service and continuous improvement mindset
• MS Office
