Pennybyrn has opportunities for Charges Nurses (RN or LPN) to work within Assisted Living at Pennybyrn. Positions available are:
Responsibilities of this position:
This position is eligible for benefits and differentials! The Charge Nurse performs duties within the scope of practice as defined by the NC Nursing Practice Act. These duties include assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting on patient plans of care within assisted living and memory supporthouseholds, as well as promoting and modeling person-directed care within the mission and values of the organization.
Pay rate scale is based on experience.
LPNs: $26 - $30 per hour
RNs: $30 - $35 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed as a Nurse in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Previous experience with geriatric residents preferred.
Good physical and mental health
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to assist with lifting, turning, and positioning residents, in excess of 100 lbs.
Must be able to push and manipulate equipment, in excess of 50 lbs.
